Too much plastic in our seas

In 2018 EcoDepo decided to make this our main focus for plastic waste by placing a sticker on each recycling bin in response to the BBC series Blue Planet. We are hoping that it would remind all users that recycling is a big part of keeping plastic out of our seas. If something isn't done about the huge quantities of plastic in our oceans our sea animals will die.

• Plastic bottles are in the top 10 most commonly found items on UK beaches. Switch to a reusable bottle and refilling on the go and help reduce plastic pollution.
• There will be more plastic waste than fish in our seas by 2050
• 70 million plastic straws are entering landfills or making their way into the world’s oceans each year.
• Some 18 billion pounds of plastic waste flows into the oceans every year from coastal regions.
